190 million pounds: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has filed a separate petition seeking an early hearing of his appeal for suspension of sentence in the £190 million case.
According to private TV channel Dunya News, Imran Khan approached the Islamabad High Court through Barrister Salman Safdar, making the federation and Chairman NAB parties to the petition.
The petition took the position that the suspension of sentence case was scheduled for hearing on March 24, the main counsel was busy with the murder case in the Supreme Court, and the court also postponed the suspension of sentence application until after Eid due to a short cause list.
The petition filed requested that the suspension of sentence application of PTI founder Imran Khan be scheduled before Eid along with the main appeal.
It should be noted that yesterday, Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi also requested an early hearing on the suspension of sentence application.
