The Pakistan Navy Ship “Aslat” Takes Part in Indonesia’s Multinational Naval Exercise Komodo-25

In Bali, Indonesia, Pakistan Navy Ship PNS ASLAT participated in the 5th Multinational Naval Exercise KOMODO-25, which was hosted by the Indonesian Navy.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise, which had as its theme “Maritime Partnership for Peace and Stability,” brought together navies from about 38 nations to improve maritime cooperation and fortify regional security.

The active involvement of PNS ASLAT, which is currently on an overseas deployment (OSD), demonstrates the Pakistan Navy’s dedication to regional stability and international maritime cooperation.

At the grand Fleet Review that kicked off the exercise, PNS ASLAT demonstrated naval capabilities and interoperability with participating nations’ vessels, helicopters, and aircraft.

In Colombo, Sri Lanka, PNS ASLAT made a port visit. Senior military authorities including the Commander of the Western Naval Area met with the ship’s commanding officer during the visit to discuss topics of shared interest and to renew bilateral ties. Additionally, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of Naval Staff, sent goodwill messages to the Sri Lankan Navy and its citizens through the Commanding Officer.
