The first total lunar eclipse: The lunar eclipse is scheduled to start tomorrow (Friday), March 14, at 8:57 a.m. Pakistan time, reach its full eclipse at 11:58 a.m., and finish at 3 p.m., according to the Meteorological Department.
According to the Meteorological Department, the lunar eclipse will cause crimson light to shine across the sky. The last lunar eclipse occurred in 2022, and this will be the first one in around three years.
In this context, it has been stated that Pakistan would not be able to see the first lunar eclipse of the year—which will be visible in North and South America—because it will take place during the day.
Although a lunar eclipse happens when the earth passes between the sun and the moon while it is rotating, it is not harmful to the eyes to observe one with the naked eye, unlike a solar eclipse.
Although Pakistan will not be able to see it, the first solar eclipse of the year is scheduled on March 29.
