PCB gave contracts: Ninety female domestic cricket players have been awarded contracts by the Pakistan Cricket Board. According to the PCB, domestic contracts for the 2024–25 season have been awarded to female cricket players.
Among those who have contracts are 18 players from the under-19 team. Ten national women’s players and sixty-two emerging category players were also signed. The Women’s National Selection Committee gave their approval to the players’ names. Asad Shafiq and former women’s cricket player Batool Fatima are on the Women’s National Selection Committee. The agreements will go into force between July 2024 and June 2025. A portion of match fees, daily allowances, and prize money will be given to emerging and under-19 athletes.
