Afghan Taliban reject: The Afghan Taliban government has denied Pakistan’s claim that Afghanistan was responsible for the attack on the passenger train Jafar Express in Balochistan, stating that Pakistan should instead concentrate on its own domestic problems and security.

Afghan Taliban reject, Foreign media reported that Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the Taliban government’s spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan, claimed in a statement released on ‘X’ that neither the Taliban government nor any of its members are in Afghanistan. The Taliban government expressed sadness over the incident’s loss of innocent life, according to the statement. It is unacceptable to take a citizen’s life for political reasons.

Notably, the Pakistan Army spokesperson claimed that the terrorist leader in Afghanistan, who had direct communication with the assailants at the time of the attack, had given the order to carry out the Jafar Express attack. According to the spokesman, the Afghan interim government should carry out its duties and stop terrorism against Pakistan from taking place on its territory. The army reported in an official statement released Wednesday night that 33 militants and four troops were killed during the operation, adding that “21 innocent hostages” were slaughtered in the Jafar Express attack.

It should be mentioned that armed men captured the passengers of the Jafar Express, which ran from Quetta to Peshawar in the Bolan region, on Tuesday. The train carried almost 400 passengers. The train incident had been attributed to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a banned Baloch militant group.
