Imran Khan rejects talks: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has vindicated that he would instruct senior PTI leader Adam SWAT to initiate addresses with the military establishment.
Imran Khan rejects talks, According to private TV Geo News, in a discussion with party leaders and attorneys at Diana Jail, Imran Khan emphasized that this attempt at contact wasn’t related to his legal cases but was solely for the sake of Pakistan.
According to informed sources, Imran Khan told those who came for the meeting that he would noway close the door to addresses with the establishment, still, he made it clear that his party has ended addresses with the current government because it doesn’t have real authority.
Those who met the founding chairman of PTI included Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali, Senator Ali Zafar and attorneys Zaheer Abbas, Mubasher Awan and Ali Imran.
During the meeting, Senator Ali Zafar sought a response from Imran Khan on Azam Swati’s recent video statement. In the video, Azam Swati revealed that Imran Khan had instructed him to communicate the establishment while keeping the nature of the addresses a secret. Azam Swati further said that although Imran Khan has been privately censuring the military leadership, behind the scenes sweats are underway to revive the addresses.
In response, Imran Khan reiterated that the action for addresses isn’t about particular interests or seeking legal charity. Imran Khan said, “ This is about Pakistan, republic, the rule of law and esteeming the delegation of the people. ”
“ He added that he is determined to fight his legal battle in court and does n’t want any backdoor relief.
Imran Khan formerly again stressed that although he has ruled out addresses with the government, he is ready to talk with the military establishment.
