Flour price reduced: The prices of naan, roti and chapati have been reduced significantly in Karachi and Quetta.
Flour price reduced, According to private television Sama News, the price of roti in Quetta has been reduced by Rs 10, and the price of 360 grams of roti in the megacity has been set at Rs 30. Action will be taken against those dealing roti at an extravagant price in Quetta.
Contrarily, the Commissioner Karachi has also reduced the prices of naan and chapati after flour, an announcement has been issued. The price of 100 grams of chapati has been set at Rs 10 and the price of 120 grams of naan at Rs 15.
The Commissioner Karachi says that strict action should be taken against price increases. The price of 150 grams of naan has been set at Rs 17. Citizens should file complaints, violations won’t be permitted.
According to Hassan Naqvi, the maximum price of 180 grams of naan is Rs 22, exceeding the sanctioned price is a punishable offense, the price list must be displayed at every shop, immediate action will be taken against violations. A control room has been set up to cover the price of non-chapati.
It should be noted that in history, the Commissioner in Karachi had issued an announcement for the reduction in flour prices after a month and a half. The Commissioner in Karachi reduced the prices of flour from Rs 10 to Rs 17 per kg.
According to the announcement, the noncommercial price of 2.5 number flour was fixed at Rs 83 while the retail price was fixed at Rs 87 per kg. The noncommercial price of fine flour was fixed at Rs 88 while the retail price was fixed at Rs 92 per kg. The price of mulled flour was fixed at Rs 100 per kg.
Fine flour is being vended in the request at Rs 90 to 100 per kg while the mulled flour is being vended at Rs 110 to 115 per kg.
