According to private TV Geo News, the US Navy said that the tractor pulling it along with the aircraft also fell into the sea and an official was injured in the incident, but the Navy declined to provide further details of the incident.

Now, the US broadcaster CNN has quoted sources as saying that the aircraft fell into the sea while the ship was trying to avoid a Houthi attack in the Red Sea.

The sources said that the aircraft carrier turned sharply to avoid the Houthi attack. During this time, the aircraft was being moved from one place on the ship to another, but the aircraft went out of control due to the rapid turn of the ship.

Another source told US media that the price of the F-18 aircraft that fell into the sea is more than 60 million US dollars.

According to US media, US aircraft carriers are the largest ships in the world but have the ability to move surprisingly quickly for their size.

During a missile attack, aircraft carriers change direction repeatedly and rapidly, rather than moving in a straight line.
