China’s tariff war: China has imposed tariffs on pesticides imported from India. The Chinese Foreign Minister says that anti-dumping tariffs will be imposed on pesticides imported from India for 5 years.
He said that the anti-dumping tariffs will start from May 7. Under the anti-dumping tariff, imported goods are sold at a price lower than the normal price in the exporting country. He said that China will adopt more active economic policies, and is optimistic about achieving the target of a growth rate of about 5 percent in 2025.
