According to Indian media, Pakistani hackers launched more than 1.5 million cyberattacks on India under “Operation Banyan Al-Marquis”, targeting websites related to the Indian government, defense, and critical infrastructure.
Indian cybersecurity officials have confirmed that although most of the attacks were thwarted, about 150 cyberattacks were successful, resulting in incidents such as data leaks, website defacing, and service disruption.
Seven major hacker groups from Pakistan participated in these attacks, including Team Insane PK, Pakistan Cyber Army, Force, PAK Grey Hat Hackers, Cyber Skull, Legion Pakistan, and STYRON.
