NASA warns: According to the US space agency NASA, a giant asteroid, which is almost twice the size of the Taj Mahal, is rapidly moving towards Earth. This asteroid, named 2014 TN17, is 540 feet wide and is traveling at an astonishing speed of 77,282 kilometers per hour.
NASA warns, According to News18, this asteroid belongs to the Apollo group, which is included in the space objects near the Earth. NASA has declared it a potentially hazardous asteroid, although it is not currently at risk of colliding with Earth. However, a slight change in its orbit could lead it towards Earth, due to which it is being constantly monitored.
According to NASA, this asteroid will pass closest to Earth at 4:34 PM Pakistan time on March 26, 2025. It will be about 5 million kilometers away from Earth, which is 13 times the distance between the Earth and the moon.
