Azerbaijan’s statement in favor of Pakistan on the Amalgam attack has come to light. In a statement issued by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Azerbaijan demanded an investigation into the Amalgam attack.
According to private TV Geo News, the statement said that there is concern about the tension between Pakistan and India; the parties should show restraint and resolve the issues through dialog.
The statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry further said that an independent and transparent international investigation should be conducted into the Amalgam incident.
The statement also said that the long-standing dispute between Pakistan and India should be resolved in accordance with UN resolutions.
