Chinese President extends hand: Chinese President Xi Jinping has conveyed to Indian President Draupadi Murmu that China and India should come closer and their relations should take the form of a” dragon giant tango”, which symbolizes the cotillion of the two countries’ representative creatures.
According to the Press Trust of India, the two chairpersons changed congratulatory dispatches on the completion of 75 times of political relations.
The communication comes at a time when relations between the two countries had reached an all-time low after the border clash in Kazakh in 2020, but are now showing signs of enhancement.
Xi Jinping stressed that the two countries should find ways to peacefully attend. He said that he is looking forward to deeper collaboration and cooperation with India on major transnational issues and wants to take common measures to establish peace in the border areas.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said that China and India are major developing countries with ancient societies and are both important members of the Global South.
According to him, from a literal perspective, the idea of both countries contributing to each other’s success and” dancing together the dragon and the giant” is the stylish way forward.
