Eid moon sighted: The Shawl moon has been sighted in Pakistan, due to which Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated across the country on Monday.
Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, announced the sighting of the moon and said that the first Shawl 1446 AH will be celebrated tomorrow, Monday, corresponding to March 31, 2025.
It should be noted that Eid was celebrated today in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, while Eid was also celebrated today in some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The announcement of Eid celebration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was made by Awami National Party chief Aimal Wali Khan.
