Elon Musk: SpaceX and Tesla founder and US President’s advisor Elon Musk’s Starlink internet service has made significant progress in its operations in Pakistan.
According to the daily Jang, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Pakistan Space Activity Regulatory Board has approved the issuance of an NOC to Starlink.
The path has been paved for Starlink to be issued a license by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). According to sources, the PTA may take a maximum of 4 weeks to issue a license, and the PTA will issue a registration certificate to Starlink.
Sources say that after getting the license, Starlink will need at least a year to operate in Pakistan, and clearing it from the Space Activity Regulatory Board was a mandatory condition for the satellite service provider.
