FBR fulfills: Another IMF requirement to document industrial business has been met by FBR.
Private television station Sama News reports that the decision has been made to keep an eye on Pakistan’s manufacturing sector’s output. For video surveillance, software known as Digital Eye will be installed. The Sales Tax Rules 2006 have been amended by a notification released by the FBR.
The notification states that the production of industrial goods will be monitored by electronic video. For this, software will be installed. The establishment of a central control unit will give FBR access to real-time production data. The production records might be examined in order to take legal action.
FBR claims that products will not be allowed to leave the factory unattended. A licensed vendor will install production monitoring equipment on the company’s property. Periodically, the approved vendor will additionally update the technology.
