Indian Air Force Chief: In the wake of the Into-Pakistan tension following the attack in the Amalgam area of occupied Kashmir, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Harpreet Singh on Sunday, which lasted about 40 minutes.
The daily Amit quoted Indian media reports as saying that although no official statement of this meeting was presented to the media, the meeting is being considered important in connection with the attack in Amalgam on April 22.
According to the report, earlier on April 30, Indian Navy Chief General Upendra Dwivedi had met Prime Minister Modi, in which External Affairs Minister S Shankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were also present.
Similarly, on May 3, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi had an hour-long consultation with the Prime Minister, in which detailed discussions were held on the Navy’s preparations and the current situation.
Contrarily, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, who will brief senior leaders of all political parties along with Director General ISPR General Ahmed Sharif today (Sunday) on the current national security situation, said that India is a crafty enemy from which the threat of attack has not yet been averted.
Earlier, the Federal Information Minister had warned India that if the aggression continues, Pakistan is fully capable of giving a befitting reply. Our hands are clean in the Amalgam incident; India should speak on the basis of facts instead of allegations.
