Jaffar Express departs, The train was attacked by terrorists on March 11, after which the train service was suspended, but now, 16 days later, it has resumed its journey from the Canto Railway Station Peshawar.

According to Express News, the Jafar Express will depart from Peshawar and reach Quetta at 5 pm tomorrow after a 34-hour journey through Punjab, Sindh and then Balochistan. 280 passengers have booked to travel on the Jafar Express, 28 passengers have left from Peshawar.

The train will enter Balochistan from Peshawar after Punjab and then Sindh. The Jafar Express is the only train that passes through all four provinces. Speaking to the media on the occasion of the train’s departure, Minister Amir Muqam said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif wanted the Jafar Express service to be restored to Quetta and now this train has left Peshawar.

He further said that the intentions of terrorists will fail and the process of development of Pakistan and Balochistan will continue. The minister expressed happiness that the Jafar Express has resumed its operations and this is a sign of the country’s development. Amir Muqam, mentioning the resolve of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against terrorism, said that the fight against the scourge of terrorism will continue.

He also said that the problem of terrorism is the problem of the entire country, and we all have to fight it. The federal minister further said that the security of all trains has been improved. Amir Muqam, criticizing the movements of the opposition parties, said that the purpose of the movements of the PTI is not the development of the country and the province but to occupy Islamabad.

He said that the leadership of the PTI is unstable and there is no continuity in their policies. Finally, Amir Muqam decided regarding the illegal Afghan refugees that the process of their return is irreversible, and it will be implemented according to the circumstances.
