Major restrictions imposed: Photography and video recording have been banned in the operational areas, runway areas and aircraft maintenance areas of airports. The Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a letter to all airlines and aviation companies.
Photography and video recording have been banned in all airports in Pakistan. The ban will apply to operational areas, runway areas and aircraft maintenance areas.
According to the letter, only the relevant aircraft engineers and staff will be allowed to take photos or videos of the aircraft during aircraft maintenance as required. In case of violation, action will be taken against the employees involved, including airline employees and ground handling staff.
The ban has been imposed after the photos of the PIA aircraft were leaked.
