Notification issued for holidays: Holidays have been announced in educational institutions on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and a formal notification has also been issued in this regard.
The notification issued by the Federal Ministry of Education states that holidays in government educational institutions will be from March 31 to April 4 and the new academic session will begin from April 7.
Contrarily, the Punjab government has also issued a notification regarding Eid holidays, according to which educational institutions will remain closed for three days from March 31 to April 2 on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
It should be noted that the Meteorological Department has predicted that Eid al-Fitr will be on March 31.
