Overseas Pakistanis set a record by transferring back a major quantum of remittances in the month of March this time.
According to the statistics released by the State Bank of Pakistan, a record of remittances worth further than 4 billion was set in a single month. In March, remittances of $4.1 billion were entered from overseas Pakistanis, which is a record.
Remittances are 37.3 advancer than March 2024 and 29.8 advancer than February 2025. An aggregate of 28 billion was entered from July to March of the current financial time, while remittances of 21 billion were entered the same period of the former financial time.
During March 2025,$983.7 million was entered from Saudi Arabia,$842.1 million from the United Arab Emirates,$683.9 million from the United Kingdom and 419.5 million from the United States.
