According to sources, in view of the duty of a 29 tariff on Pakistan by the US, Pakistan is seriously considering importing American crude oil painting oil, and in this regard, Pakistan has proposed to the US to buy oil painting oil to reduce its trade insufficiency.
According to officers, the 29 US tariff on Pakistan is temporarily suspended for 90 days; still, the Pakistani delegation is presently in Washington for tariff negotiation with the US.
It should be noted that in 2024, Pakistan imported oil painting worth 5.1 billion, while the US has a trade insufficiency of 3 billion with Pakistan. Sources said that Pakistan is willing to buy cotton yarn and soybeans from the US.
