Pakistan-India tension: US President Donald Trump has said that India and Pakistan will resolve their own issues.

He said that the dispute between the two countries has been going on for a thousand years; “The tension on the Kashmir border is more than a thousand years old, even 1500 years old.”
It should be noted that President Trump has said this to show the seriousness of the issue, because Pakistan and India have not even been independent for 80 years.
He said, “They will resolve the issue one way or the other. There is severe tension between Pakistan and India, but it has always been like this.”
It should be noted that 26 people were shot dead in an incident that took place at a tourist spot in occupied Kashmir on Tuesday. The Indian government says Pakistani elements were involved in the attack, a claim Pakistan has strongly denied.
Relations between the two countries have deteriorated further since the recent attack. India has suspended the Indus Waters Treaty on water sharing, while Pakistan has closed its airspace to Indian airlines. Trade relations have also been put at risk.
Indian stock markets saw a sharp decline on Friday as concerns arose about a possible escalation in tensions.
