He was elected as the fourth Pakistani to hold this office. After a fierce campaign, Musa Hiraj was able to win the Oxford University presidency. Muhammad Raza Hayat Hiraj, a former federal minister, is the father of Musa Hiraj, a young Pakistani.

Musa Hiraj expressed his gratitude to Allah Almighty for this achievement, saying that it is an honor for him to be the President of the Oxford University Union.

Notably, this role has been held by Benazir Bhutto, Ahmed Nawaz, and Israr Khan in the past.
