PIA announces launch: National airline PIA has announced the launch of direct flights from Lahore to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from April 20, 2025.
Initially, it will start with two weekly flights, which will depart from Lahore every Sunday and Wednesday. Regarding the launch of this new route, a special event was organized by PIA in honor of travel agents and tour operators in Karachi, with the aim of creating awareness about Baku flights and promoting these new flights in the market.
During the event, travel agents were provided with detailed information about the importance of the Baku route, flight schedules and facilities. The speakers said that Baku flights will not only promote the tourism sector but will also increase trade links between the two countries. The role of travel agents is key to making the Baku route successful in terms of business and tourism, and PIA will make every effort to make this route successful.
