Prime Minister announces reward, According to the private TV channel Express News, the Prime Minister awarded a reward of Rs 1 million each to the officers and officials of the Intelligence Bureau and FIA who arrested human trafficker Usman Jaja.
Usman Jaja is one of the main characters responsible for the deaths of Pakistanis who died in the Greek ferry accident in 2024. The Prime Minister was also informed about the ongoing operations by the FIA and the Intelligence Bureau to prevent human trafficking.
The Prime Minister said that people involved in the wicked act of human trafficking cause the loss of precious lives and bring Pakistan into disrepute around the world. Many people lost their lives due to this wicked act; the institutions should intensify their operations to bring such elements to justice.
The Prime Minister said that the arrest of the Jaja gang is commendable, and the suppression of the elements involved in the wicked crime of human trafficking is a government priority. Shahbaz Sharif said that those involved in the black business tried to tarnish the image of Pakistan, and he has made a firm determination to completely stop the business of human trafficking.
The Prime Minister said that the purpose of inviting you here is to appreciate your performance, and the arrest of the Jaja gang is commendable. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State for Interior and Narcotics Control Talal Chaudhry and relevant senior officials also attended the meeting.
