Danish University was constructed at a cost of 190 million pounds (60 billion rupees), with the foundation stone set by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Speaking at the Danish University foundation stone ceremony in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa for transferring 190 million pounds to the national treasury, according to private TV Geo News.
According to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, underprivileged boys and girls would receive free education, youngsters from all four provinces will be able to come here and receive higher education, and admittance to Danish universities will only be granted on the basis of merit.
According to him, this institution will be a global leader in high-quality education, faculty, and research, and its first phase will open for business on August 14, 2026.
According to Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, 190 million pounds of Pakistani taxpayer money are being used to construct this facility. Sadly, the previous administration embezzled this money from the populace. He expresses gratitude to Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Qazi Faez Isa for restoring the public’s trust. According to Ahsan Iqbal, the foundation of the Udan Pakistan program will be Danish University.
