Punjab government’s exemplary initiative, Under the message of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, “Transgenders will not beg, they will earn a respectable living,” for the first time in the history of Punjab, the path to a dignified and dignified life has been opened for the transgender community.
For the first time in the history of Punjab, a comprehensive technical skill training program has been launched for transgenders, in which 1600 transgenders will be taught various skills in the first phase, especially under the Punjab Skills Development Fund Program. Transgenders will be made economically independent through training in IT and freelancing.
For the first time in Punjab, healthcare assistant skill training will be organized for transgenders. Similarly, transgenders will be given training in tailoring, fashion designing, electrical work, solar technology, beauty services and culinary arts to earn a respectable living.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the ruthless attitude towards transgenders is regrettable. Transgenders are forced to beg due to social boycott and lack of proper employment. Teach transgender skills and prove that talent has no gender.
She said that they are not only training transgenders but also striving to give them a dignified place in society. The lives of transgenders are changing with the revolutionary vocational training program.
