Russia responds: The Kremlin said Russia and the United States are working on some unidentified proffers for a possible peace deal in Ukraine.
The statement came as US President Donald Trump said he was” angry” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump said in an interview with NBC News that he came” veritably angry” when Putin raised questions about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s leadership last week.
Trump added that he had put fresh tariffs of 25 to 50 percent on countries that buy Russian oil painting if he felt Moscow was gumming his sweats to end the war.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov responded to Trump’s commentary by saying that Putin was still open to communication with Trump and that a telephone discussion between the two leaders could be arranged incontinent if necessary, but no call was listed this week. Peskov added that Moscow and Washington continue to work to strengthen bilateral relations.
