Terrorists who took innocent civilians hostage and martyred them should be made an example of: Awami Tehreek

Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and President Qazi Zahid Hussain of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek Central firmly denounce the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan, as well as the act of taking innocent passengers hostage and martyring them.

Awami Tehreek

As a grave act of treason and rebellion, this terrorist attack on the state should be put down with the use of all available state resources, and all those responsible for this terrorist catastrophe should be held accountable and given commendable punishment.

The moment has arrived, according to Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, to rid this country of the filthy presence of terrorist elements that are endangering the lives and property of defenseless civilians and to vanquish the terrorists using the strength of national unity and consensus.

Raja Zahid Mahmood, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Qazi Shafiq, Qamar Abbas Dhol, Muhammad Ismail Noorzai, Subhanullah Khan, Noorullah Siddiqui, Arif Chaudhry, and Sardar Umar Daraz Khan, members of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek Central Executive Council, have all strongly condemned this heinous act of terrorism and called for the terrorists and those who support it to be held accountable. These leaders said in a joint statement that they pray for the safety of the officers and soldiers of the forces taking part in the operation against the terrorists, offer their condolences to the families of the martyrs, and show their full solidarity with them.

The Executive Council members stated that although the people of Pakistan have previously been wounded by terrorism, they have not lost their courage and that the country will continue to battle valiantly to prevent the terrorists from achieving their evil goals. The creation of a national consensus is urgently needed at this moment.
