The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in Islamabad today to see the Shawl moon in Pakistan.
The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be chaired by Chairman Maulana Abul Khabair Azad, while the meetings of the provincial Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will be held in their respective areas.
Pakistan’s space agency, “SPARC”, says that the Shawl moon was formed yesterday at 3:58 pm Pakistani time, the age of the moon will be about 27 hours at sunset on Sunday, and there is a national possibility of sighted the Shawl moon in Pakistan today.
The Bohri community in Pakistan is also celebrating Eid al-Fitr today, while Awami National Party chief Aimal Wali Khan has also announced to celebrate Eid today.
Contrarily, Eid al-Fitr is being celebrated in various Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates today, while Eid is expected to be celebrated in various European countries including the UK and Canada on March 31.
